
Anthony Shallat- Partner Emeritus
Effective January 2023, Anthony Shallat is no longer practicing law at Fisher Hudson Brown Horton. Anthony Shallat served as Partner at the firm’s predecessor, Fisher Hudson Shallat, from 2019 to 2023. Anthony now acts as in-house counsel to a tech startup.
Anthony has been nationally recognized by his peers as a rising star in business and corporate law practices. Anthony’s outside counsel specialties include advising startup clients on corporate, commercial, and IP matters in the AdTech, global franchising, SaaS industries.
Anthony has also represented clients in state and federal litigation. Anthony’s litigation experience includes commercial contract breaches, shareholder disputes, corporate fraud, personal injury, and franchise lawsuits.
Born and raised in Boise, Anthony attended college in San Diego and then worked as a consultant in Washington, D.C. Anthony returned to Idaho to attend law school at the University of Idaho. Anthony is also a graduate of VC University, a venture capitalism program run by University of California Berkeley School of Law and the National Venture Capitalism Association.
Before joining Fisher Hudson Shallat, Anthony initially gained legal experience with the Department of Justice and then litigated a number of high-profile cases including bad faith suits against mortgage companies and a private prison corporation. Anthony has also served as a legislative staffer for a U.S. Congressman and as a Commissioner on the City of Boise’s Historic Preservation Commission.
In his free time, Anthony enjoys traveling and skiing.
